Colored UHMWPE filaments have established a strong competitive advantage in the textile industry.

Colored UHMWPE filaments are produced by adding a specific ratio of pigments to the conventional filament production process, resulting in products in colors other than white. These colored filaments have a wide range of applications, primarily in textiles, marine fisheries, and sporting goods, meeting the specific color requirements of downstream applications of UHMWPE fibers and broadening the application scope of conventional filaments to a certain extent.

As the production technology of colored UHMWPE filaments, especially fine colored filaments, continues to mature, the market for UHMWPE fibers in the textile industry will further expand.

Colored UHMWPE filaments are mainly fine colored filaments, which have established a strong competitive advantage in the textile industry.

Compared to coarse UHMWPE filaments, finer fibers retain their inherent properties such as abrasion resistance, coolness, and lightweight, while making the material softer, more comfortable, and easier to use in textile fabrics.

They are generally used in combination with other conventional textile fibers. Using UHMWPE fibers can improve the abrasion resistance, coolness, and lightweight properties of ordinary textile fabrics. Currently, fine colored UHMWPE fibers are mainly used in relatively high-end textile fabrics. Functional fabrics such as denim, outdoor jackets, and mountaineering jackets, which require high durability and lightweight properties, have a significant demand for UHMWPE fine colored fibers. Compared to conventional textile fabrics, UHMWPE fibers are more expensive, thus their application in functional fabrics has been relatively slow in the past.

In recent years, with the continuous maturation of UHMWPE fiber production technology and the gradual reduction in production costs, it has the potential for large-scale use in conventional civilian fields.
