Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers are arranged in parallel in one direction. After bonding and molding with thermoplastic resin, they are then compounded by 0-degree/90-degree longitude orthogonal lamination to make UD weft-free fabric.
Product introduction
UD weft-free cloth, also known as unidirectional cloth, weft-free cloth or UD cloth, is made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers arranged in parallel in one direction (usually the warp direction). After being bonded and molded with thermoplastic resin, it is then passed through 0°/90 Non-textile materials that are composited by orthogonal lamination.
UD weftless fabric is a flexible composite material sheet, generally used for bulletproof materials. The bulletproof layer can be formed by superimposing multiple layers of weftless fabric. The biggest advantage of weftless fabric is that there is no buckling, bombing or knife cutting of the fibers in the tissue structure. The energy spreads outward from the contact point faster; secondly, the fiber is not woven and will not bend, so that the mechanical properties such as tensile strength and tensile modulus are maintained at a high rate, which is conducive to the improvement of protective performance.

Product model
UD weftless fabrics are mainly divided into soft weftless fabrics and hard weftless fabrics.

Product application
UD weftless fabric mainUsed in body armor, bulletproof helmets, bulletproof plates, armor plates and other products.
